Veteran or spouse of veteran who needs help with chores of daily living may be entitled to a special monthly pension called aid and attendance

Maximum Amount of Special Monthly Pension for 2013.

Veteran	$1732/month
Veteran with spouse	$2054/month
Widow(er)	$1112/month

VA will tell you that RESOURCES must be below $80,000, but that is adjustable. Thus if you otherwise qualify, essentially you may be eligible no matter what your assets are.

You should see Nancy Busch if an individual is a vet or the spouse of a vet and they are not receiving this special monthly pension from the VA.
